Tipulids
Only one moth in the trap last night, but now getting lots of this Cranefly Tipula pagna. The females are brachypterous.
Lots of these on the garage wall this morning, including one mating pair. They looked odd so I was going to post to ask what they were but no need now - thanks Dave.
I've been getting 10+ males a night in the moth trap - certainly more numerous than the moths. Also the caddisflies Glossosoma boltoni and Rhyacophila dorsalis on Friday night.
